My Story

I am passionate about cultivating a sense of belonging and wholeness, reminding people of their innate wisdom, and taking tangible steps to create the lives and communities we believe in.

I help people navigate the patterns that prevent their growth.

My own journey into untangling these patterns both professionally and personally has informed my belief that we all have the power to transform our lives in meaningful ways and to live, love, and express ourselves more authentically. Once we understand the conditioning that keeps us from stepping into our own wisdom, we can access the best parts of ourselves and live from that space.

My professional experience in healthcare and animal rescue has given me an appreciation for the need to reflect, rejuvenate, and cultivate an inner sense of resilience. Being a witness to the suffering of others and holding a sacred space for their healing is deeply meaningful work. Yet, at times, it can erode the very parts of us that connect us to our purpose, vitality, and sense of wellness. With over thirty years as a leader and healthcare professional, I have learned how to dig deep, embrace change, and cultivate new ways of thinking and being while staying balanced and centered.

Trained as a Critical Care Trauma RN, I dove head first into the pain and suffering of others early in my career while raising two young children on my own. It was not long before my own mental and physical health began to suffer. I know now, that the sense of overwhelm and exhaustion that expressed themselves as insomnia, anxiety, mood swings, and depression were actually caused by something called compassion fatigue burn out.

It was then I began my healing journey. I immersed myself in the study of well being for mind, body and spirit and over the course of the next 20 years, became a yoga instructor, Reiki practitioner, and went to graduate school to gain my masters in nursing education and leadership. It was in graduate school I became fascinated with the neuroscience of learning, habit formation and how the brain interprets messages from our nervous system that creates actions that either supports our well being, or sabotages it.

I now weave together the neuroscience of mindfulness, yoga psychology, and somatic approaches that rewire the nervous system and provide individuals with the tools they need to overcome their limiting beliefs and habits. Through one on one coaching, immersive retreats, and dynamic online learning experiences — I help women get unblocked, and take massive action towards their biggest, most audacious goals and selves. If you are feeling stuck in your personal or professional life, if you are feeling called to move in a different direction, or are having trouble finding your authentic self, or this is just resonating with you in a way nothing else has and you’d like to dive in, let’s connect with a free discovery call. Whether you are a health care provider experiencing compassion fatigue, a professional woman juggling career and home, or a stay at home mom who feels burnt out or longing to be more for her family and self, we will explore ways to catalyze change in your personal and professional life.
